Omboko Milemba, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Education: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) provide details and timelines, if any, that the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has taken towards expediting payments to teachers involved in the 2022/2023 KCSE exam administration and marking exercise, and further state the reasons for the inordinate delay that has greatly inconvenienced the teachers? (ii) state the measures put in place by KNEC to address the working conditions and the environment for teachers engaged in the marking exercise every year? (iii) explain the measures that KNEC is undertaking to address the differences in payment made to teachers who mark KCSE exams based on subjects?
