The Member for Homa Bay Town (Hon. Peter Kaluma, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) Explain why all electrification projects for street lighting, schools and other public institutions that were being undertaken by the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) and the Kenya Power Company Limited in Homa Bay Town Constituency have stalled? (ii) Provide a status report and definite date within which the Ministry will complete the stalled electrification projects and increase electricity connectivity in Homa Bay Town Constituency? (iii) Indicate the steps the Ministry taking to ensure that Riwa Primary and Secondary Schools are supplied with electricity?
